We recommend that you do not consult a chiropractor before seeking advice from your vet.
There is some published evidence of the potential benefits of acupuncture for pain relief but, overall, the evidence is equivocal. Again, you should consult your vet for advice before seeking an acupuncture referral to a qualified veterinary acupuncturist. This article recommends that acupuncture should complement, not replace, other treatment options.
